My Background
I’m Jacob Nabors, founder of Naborhood Marketing. My path into marketing started at Jacksonville State University, where I studied Finance but found myself drawn to marketing electives that opened my eyes to the sales process and the power of connecting businesses with people.
After graduating, I began my career in advertising sales at a local newspaper. What started as a job quickly became a passion — helping local businesses share their story and reach new customers. That passion grew as I moved into the agency world, where I not only sold campaigns but also learned to run them hands-on. From building Google Ads and Facebook campaigns to designing print materials, I developed the skills to see marketing from both the sales side and the technical implementation side.
